About Us

Beta Scout began with our son, Hank.

When Hank was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, we suddenly had to carry his supplies everywhere we went. Most of the time his things were split between pockets and bags. Snacks? In mom's bag. Test strips? in his fanny pack. And insulin? It's own challenge to keep it cool in the summer.

We couldn't find one bag that allowed Hank to carry everything in a simple, organized, and compact way.

So we decided to create one.

A simple, organized bag designed specifically for kids living with T1D.
